C-Store Shifts: Energy, Soft Drinks Down; Enhanced Water, Iced Tea Up

Total beverage dollars in the convenience channel are down 2% so far this year, driven by a 9% decrease in packaged beverages. Dollars for juice, energy and carbonated soft drinks have been decreasing each month since 2022, while ready-to-drink iced tea dollars were up all of 2023, with 2024 showing signs of continued growth. Enhanced water products saw 3% YoY growth in Q1.
