
Each year, NBWA recognizes members’ service to the beer distribution industry and their communities with several association awards. These awards are:
- The Life Service Award, NBWA’s highest honor, for leadership, service and legacy
- The Public Affairs Award for promoting the beer distribution industry
- The Freida G. Maisel Trailblazer Award honors individuals and companies who advance women in the beer distribution industry
- The Kenny Kerr PAC Award, named in honor of NBWA’s first PAC Chairman, recognizes a distributor’s passion for political advocacy
- The Whitey Littlefield Award honors distributors who go the extra mile to grow the NBWA PAC

Freida G. Maisel Trailblazer Award — Mchele Connors and Jennifer Grant
- Michele Connors is the owner of S.R. Perrott, Inc. Her hands-on leadership has helped her 100% female-owned company drive big results in both business and inclusivity.
- Jennifer Grant is General Manager & Vice President of Markstein Sales Company. She established a mentoring program to provide female team members with the opportunity to receive personalized guidance, support and insight from their peers.

Mike Lashbrook received a special posthumous Life Service Award. Lashbrook was the first Executive Director for the Center for Alcohol Policy and was instrumental in growing the organization.
