Newly elected NBWA board member Michael Vacek Jr., passed away last week following injuries sustained in a skiing accident. A longtime beer industry leader and president and partner of Atlanta Beverage Company, he followed his father into the industry.

Reflecting on Vacek’s impact, NBWA President and CEO Craig Purser said, “Mike had many friends and admirers throughout our industry. He was a colleague to all, a friend to many, and he will be deeply missed.”
