The alcohol industry is increasingly targeted by sophisticated criminal groups — and NBWA is fighting back. The association has launched a new resource page with educational guides for both distributors and regulators, highlighting:

• The threat stolen alcohol poses to regulated alcohol markets
• Strategies for preventing and combating these criminal efforts
• Resources for companies affected by theft

Beverage and food products, which include alcohol, were cargo thieves’ top targets in 2025, seeing a nearly 50% spike from 2024 and accounting for over 20% of all supply chain theft.
