Last week, NBWA joined 14 other trade associations on a letter expressing concerns about the alcohol review process for the 2025-2030 Dietary Guidelines for Americans. The associations urged Secretary of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra and Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack to ensure a review process that is transparent, deliberative and science-driven.

Similar concerns were also raised in a recent bipartisan letter to Secretary Becerra and Secretary Vilsack signed by 17 Members of Congress.
