In recognition of January as National Human Trafficking Prevention Month, ALEC’s Commerce, Insurance, and Economic Development (CIED) Task Force hosted a webinar addressing this issue. Mike Markovich, NBWA member and Vice President of Community Relations at Summit Beverage, was a guest speaker alongside NBWA’s Vice President of State Affairs David Christman, American Hotel and Lodging Association representatives and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The group discussed ongoing efforts to help prevent and end human trafficking.
