The committee released a report raising concerns about an alcohol intake and health study by the Interagency Coordinating Committee on the Prevention of Underage Drinking (ICCPUD), citing duplication, lack of transparency and legal compliance concerns. It recommended excluding the study from the 2025–2030 Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
