Beer remains the top choice for summer kickoff festivities, with 73% of alcohol-buying consumers planning to purchase it, far outpacing spirits, wine and RTDs. Last year the beer category accounted for the bulk of holiday weekend bev-alc sales, with dollars reaching $1.049 billion.
