NBWA Announces Headliners for 2023 Convention in Las Vegas
The National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA) is excited to welcome an all-star roster of speakers to its 86th Annual Convention & Trade Show, taking place in Las Vegas from October 8-11. The event is held each year in the fall to provide valuable education programs for the beer industry and introduce distributors to new products, technologies and vendors needed to run their operations. This year’s confirmed speakers are:
Gavin Hattersley, President & CEO of Molson Coors Beverage Company
Hattersley will be taking the stage in Las Vegas to share insights from 25 years of senior leadership in the beer industry. He will discuss the significant changes he’s witnessed throughout his career, as well as the importance of innovating in the face of dynamic consumer trends and corporate challenges. He will also address the importance of people – employees, customers and communities – for the future of the beer industry.
Kevin Johnson, former NBA All-Star, Mayor of Sacramento, founder of National Black Brewers Association & owner of Oak Park Brewing Company
In addition to leading a highly successful athletic career, Johnson is a seasoned business leader in the food, beverage and hospitality industry – with multiple successful brands and restaurants in his portfolio. Johnson will share his unique perspective on the future of the beer industry while highlighting important lessons he’s learned as an athlete, entrepreneur and civil servant.
Jon Dorenbos, former NFL player & professional magician
Dorenbos was the Eagles’ all-time leader in consecutive games played when an aortic aneurysm cut his career short. Refusing to give into self-doubt, he blazed a new path as a professional magician, earning third place on Season 11 of “America’s Got Talent” with sleight-of-hand tricks that dazzled the country. His incredible journey of overcoming obstacles and embracing reinvention will resonate with beverage distributors trying to navigate today’s constantly changing market.
