Distributors Give Back, Showcase Energy Innovation on Earth Day

America’s beer and beverage distributors celebrated Earth Day by showcasing the industry’s commitment to building cleaner, more connected communities. From impactful charitable efforts to expanded investments in energy-efficient technology, these local businesses are leading the way into a bright future.

Some Earth Day 2025 highlights from NBWA members:

Leading the Way With Energy-Efficient Technology

During an Earth Day event, Wilsbach Distributors in Harrisburg, PA showcased the arrival of its new fleet of battery-powered tractor trailers. Combined with the company’s warehouse solar array, the company’s trucks are now running off of 100% clean energy.

Reyes Beverage Group highlighted its 2024 launch of 29 EV tractors across its California fleet and over 400,000 electric miles driven, including 130,000 with class 8 trucks.

Robust Recycling Programs

Fabiano Brothers in Michigan and Wisconsin shared facts about its recycling efforts, including over seven million pounds of recycled materials last year, the use of building materials that conserve energy and a water recapture and reuse system for its truck-washing bays.

Brewery Products in York, PA highlighted its sustainability efforts through bag donations and over 30,000 pounds of cardboard and plastic wrap recycled in 2024.

Cleaning Up Communities as a Team

Distributor employees rolled up their sleeves to make a difference on Earth Day!

Team members at Ace Distributing in Wrightsville, PA joined together for an Earth Day clean-up of the local area, while Londonderry, NH-based Bellavance Beverage Company took to the woods to help restore a local hiking trail.
