Distributors Set for Impact, Insights at NBWA’s Legislative Conference and BREW Leadership Forum
As America’s beer distributors prepare to arrive in Washington, D.C. next month, NBWA announced the final schedule for its Legislative Conference and BREW Leadership Forum events.
Legislative Conference (April 6-9)
The biggest advocacy event for the 135,000 Americans who work in the independent beer and beverage distribution industry. Representatives from America’s 3,000 beer distributors bring key issues to Capitol Hill through meetings with legislators and their staff.
During the conference programming, attendees learn strategic skills to advocate for the industry while getting political updates from speakers and NBWA’s team of experts.

BREW Leadership Forum (April 7)
Distributor sharpen their leadership skills and get expert insights into today’s beverage marketplace at the Leadership Forum, which takes place within Legislative Conference.
Attendees will learn from an all-star roster of distributors, leadership coaches and beverage industry experts, including newly announced keynote speaker Nadia Bilchik, renowned CNN journalist.

At this year’s Legislative Conference, attendees will educate policymakers including over 70 new Members of Congress about our nation’s successful, state-based alcohol regulatory system and the essential role beer distributors play in delivering growth and safety to American communities. Other key issues to be discussed include:
- Main Street Tax Competitiveness
- Moderate Alcohol Consumption and Health
- Maintaining Effective Alcohol Regulation
In addition to the important advocacy work at the Capitol, beer distributors and their partners will gain a better understanding of the new D.C. political landscape from:
