In celebration of World Environment Day on June 5th, employees from Silver Eagle Distributors, the Anheuser-Busch Houston Brewery, and Longhorn Glass gathered at the east end of Buffalo Bayou Park this past weekend to help revitalize and further beautify one of Houston’s most iconic green spaces. The volunteers helped remove debris, created plant beds, and planted more than 4,800 Asian Jasmine plants along the stretch of bayou at the eastern end of Buffalo Bayou Park underneath the I-45 overpass.
The volunteer cleanup and planting effort is part of a nationwide Anheuser-Busch initiative that encourages employees, wholesalers, partners and consumers to actively support water conservation, as well as preservation efforts like this one, year-after-year.
