Bison Beverage Celebrates 100th Anniversary of Family Ownership and Service

The National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA) recognizes Bison Beverage as it celebrates a historic milestone — 100 years of family ownership and service to Wyoming communities. Founded in 1926, Bison Beverage’s centennial year marks a century of commitment to the three-tier system and deep local roots across the state.

“Our great-grandmother founded this company as Cheyenne Beverage in 1926 and it has been our family’s mission ever since to be the very best beverage wholesaler in the state,” said President & CEO Todd Lewis.

Today, Bison Beverage is led by fourth-generation family members Todd Lewis and Vice President Brittney Webber, continuing the legacy established by their great-grandmother a century ago. Together, they oversee operations that serve a broad footprint across Wyoming, reaching more than 75 percent of the state’s population and supporting major markets including Cheyenne, Laramie, Casper, Sheridan, Gillette, Cody, Torrington, Wheatland and Douglas.

Over the past 100 years, Bison Beverage has grown into a premier wholesaler, built on long-standing relationships with employees, retail partners, suppliers and local communities. As Bison Beverage celebrates its centennial, NBWA applauds the company’s enduring example of what distributors bring to the beer and beverage industry.
