George W. Bush

43rd President of the United States of America
View Bio

NBWA is honored to announce that George W. Bush, the 43rd President of the United States of America, will join our upcoming Annual Convention & Product Showcase (Oct. 11-14 in Orlando).

President Bush will speak during the General Session on Tuesday, October 13, in a program sponsored by Greater.

As Commander in Chief, President Bush worked to expand freedom, opportunity and security at home and abroad. Following the terrorist attacks of September 11, he led our nation through some of its darkest days, working tirelessly to protect the American people. His administration also launched global HIV/AIDS and malaria initiatives that have saved millions of lives.

After the Presidency, President and Mrs. Bush have worked to engage communities across the United States and around the world through the nonpartisan George W. Bush Institute — developing leaders, advancing policy and taking action to solve today’s most pressing challenges.

Dr. Jason G. Halbert

Chief Behavioral Science Officer at Greater Industries
View Bio

Dr. Jason Halbert is Chief Behavioral Science Officer at Greater Industries, where he leads change management and behavioral science for the organization. That title exists because of two decades spent in the room every leader eventually ends up in: mid-pivot, mid-crisis, mid-decision, with half the facts and none of the time. He’s done that work in many consequential environments: interrogating high-value targets, recruiting spies, and building psychological profiles of terrorists while serving with U.S. Army Special Operations. He has led jury selection and trial strategy in billion-dollar corporate litigation.

As an early executive at Snapchat, Dr. Halbert helped scale the company’s culture, security, and hiring systems from 100 to 4,000 employees through its IPO. Today, his company, 3Back.io, applies that same behavioral science across 25 countries. Along the way, he’s advised on more than 10,000 hiring decisions and personally interviewed hundreds of the most extreme personalities on either end of the spectrum — from convicted murderers to elite military operators to founders raising nine-figure rounds.

Crisis doesn’t reward more meetings or more process. It rewards someone willing to change the plan in real time and persuade the room to move with them. That’s the pattern Dr. Halbert will pressure-test with Craig Purser: how to read what people actually value, how to move them when it counts, and how to lead real change — not the workshop kind — when there’s no time left to build consensus.
