WA: Restaurants face a whole new world in purchasing liquor
Under Initiative 1183, distributors were able to start selling liquor to restaurants March 1. But most distributors started selling to restaurants around the same time that retailers began selling to consumers June 1. Many of the distributors ended up filling orders for both restaurants and retailers, including large grocery stores, and they couldn’t meet everyone’s needs.
