Great Lakes Brewing Company based in Cleveland, Ohio, has announced its plan to expand distribution into the South Central Pennsylvania market via a two-phase launch beginning in June.

Bernie Brewer now has a namesake beer. Fans overwhelmingly voted for “Bernie’s Barrelman Ale,” a name inspired by the Milwaukee Brewers mascot, in an online contest to dub a new beer created in partnership between the baseball club and Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Co. The beer will be available exclusively at Miller Park beginning with the May 27 Brewers game.

Tens of millions of Americans are going to get away this Memorial Day weekend, but not as many as last year. According to the auto club AAA, 34.8 million Americans will travel at least 50 miles from home for the unofficial start of the summer travel season, a 0.9% dip from 2012.
